What is a Digital X-Ray?

Digital X-Ray is a fast and safe imaging test that uses low-dose radiation to capture clear pictures of the bones, chest, joints, and internal organs.

Unlike traditional film-based X-rays, digital X-rays are more precise, provide instant results, and use less radiation.

At Dr. Anand’s Imaging & Neurological Research Centre, we offer TRUE Digital Radiography (DR) – the most advanced form of X-ray in East Delhi.

✅ How Does It Help?

Digital X-Ray is commonly used to:

  • 🦴 Detect fractures, dislocations, or bone injuries

  • 🫁 Examine lungs for infections like pneumonia or tuberculosis

  • 🩺 Evaluate heart size or fluid in the chest

  • 🔍 Identify joint problems like arthritis or bone spurs

  • 🩸 Detect kidney stones or blockages in the abdomen

  • 🧒 Assess developmental bone issues in children

How Does It Work?

  • You may be asked to stand, sit, or lie down depending on the body part being scanned

  • A digital X-ray machine directs a small amount of radiation through your body

  • Images are captured in seconds and appear immediately on the screen

  • Our radiologist reviews the scan and prepares a detailed report

⏱️ The entire process takes 5–10 minutes and is completely painless.
